Book Review: Seven Summers by Paige Toon
This book got me! I have no clue how I let this one sit on my shelf for as long as I did. I don’t typically enjoy love triangles because there is always one obvious answer, but I felt myself flipping back and forth between who I thought Liv should be with. There are a lot of heavy discussions of grief and loss that had this book taking on a more serious tone at points, but it only added to the story. It was the perfect way to wrap up the summer.Â

Book Review: Beach Read by Emily Henry
The only reason this book wasn’t five stars was that it took me a while to get into it. I thought the beginning was a bit slow, but it really picks up about halfway through. I rarely cry real tears while reading, and I did. Lots of them. This book was wholesome beyond measure, and the characters underwent significant positive character development. The romance was swoon-worthy, and the plot was fresh and unique.Â

Guide to Giverny
The main reason that we had decided on Giverny was to visit Claude Monet’s House and Gardens. Giverny is where the world-famous Impressionist painter Claude Monet decided to settle. Located in the rolling fields of the Normandy region of France, Giverny was the ideal setting for the artist, as it inspired his paintings. The town is only 1 hour away from Paris, making it the perfect day trip!
