Books We Bought For Their Gorgeous Covers

Updated: Jan 18, 2021

We know, you aren't supposed to judge a book by its cover, but sometimes it’s hard. A book’s cover is your first impression of a book. With that being said, here are some of our favorite book covers!

The Queen Of Nothing by Holly Black

The third and final installment of the Folk of Air series, The Queen Of Nothing has a beautifully simplistic color palate. With a broken crown embedded in cracked ice and a snake slithering in the corner, this cover definitely caught our attention.

An Enchantment Of Ravens by Margaret Rogerson

This book's cover is gorgeous! The black, lacey sleeve of the girl’s dress contrasts against her long golden hair. Her face is framed with ravens and feathers, which ties in the cover to the book perfectly. This cover is brilliantly executed.

Enchantee by Gita Trelease

The red, white, and blue color scheme to represent the French flag, her beautiful red lip, and stunning gold splatters, This cover is a masterpiece! The font is also perfect for the feel of this book.

Five Feet Apart by Rachael Lippincott, Mikki Daughtry, and Tobias Iaconis

With its dark blue sky filled with stars, paired with swooping vines and flowers, it’s no wonder that this cover caught our attention! Not only is it visually stunning, but this cover perfectly portrays the theme and storyline of the book.

The Sun is Also a Star by Nicola Yoon

The vibrant colors and pattern immediately draw your eyes to this book. It also wonderfully displays the themes of the book, including individual lives crossing and connecting to form something beautiful.

Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas

Before even reading the back of this book, it is clear that the character portrayed is going to be, for lack of a better word, AWESOME! Holding weapons and glaring menacingly, this cover definitely does the character justice.
